What is a hernia?

A hernia occurs when there is a weakness in your abdominal wall which then allows the contents inside to "herniate" or pass through resulting in pain, an obvious bulge and if left untreated can result in emergency presentations to hospital.

Do you perform keyhole surgery for hernias?
